Brian Stansfield

Brian Stansfield has been living in and around production all his life. Growing up in his father Ross Stansfield's photography studio in Northern Virginia, Brian got a first hand taste of the creative workflow and crafting a career around understanding light & capturing raw moments. The photography bug didn't bite at first, perhaps due to it's close association with lugging around heavy power packs, c-stands, and apple boxes as a youngster at his father's studio. Brian got his first video camera as a gift at age 14. His band, "Flap Jack & The Breakfast Buffet All-Stars" clearly needed a music video... The camera changed his world forever and all other hobbies took a backseat from that moment onward. He quit FJ&TBBAS after the music video was complete to pursue all things camera...  Brian is now a New York City based director of photography and photographer.
